Making yoga work for Real People
Practice Home or Away When you have time

If you are apprehensive about trying some yoga moves you are in a great place here. What brought me to teaching yoga is just the same feeling, the belief that it’s not for my super sensitive chronically ill body.

None of the video classes I teach will have crazy poses where you tie yourself in knots, you won’t need to do a hand/ head stand or any of the other crazy inversion arm balances you find on social media – that is acrobatics for Instagram not a necessary part of yoga!

Yes, you can be a yogi without going upside down.

Here you will get a highly committed, engaged, teacher to work with you as you learn Yoga to heal yourself so you can be more present for your partner, family, community, and the world.

I teach authentically from the heart with a focus to make Yoga inclusive and accessible, even for you. If you can’t make any of the videos work for you, drop me a line and tell me about your experience, after all it is slightly different teaching you on screen than having you in front of me where I can respond immediately to what is presented to me in each moment. What do it do if I have pain during my online practice?

First of all, let me tell you that yoga and any form of exercise really shouldn't hurt. Things can be uncomfortable or hard work, challenging physically or mentally but they should not hurt. You don't have to do all the poses in a video, feel free to skip things and try again next time. Always listen to your body. If you feel worried ask your doctor about it. Ask for help via the contact form and I'll try to suggest a different way of getting the same benefit. I am here to help you make this work.

If you practice even just once a week you will see progress in a month or two. The more regular your practice the more comfortable you will get in your practice and your body's abilities. Health and fitness are a whole life commitment, slow and steady wins the race. Give yourself time to develop this new habit into something that is sustainable long term and you'll never look back.
